* Not that you ever want to pick a favorite when all the bands that came through the studio were top notch musicians and all the sessions sound good, but Half Moon Run was the pick of the litter for me.
They recorded “Unofferable” a gorgeous, haunting ballad that was the highlight of my week covering these sessions for Spotify. The vocals were recorded in the studio with almost all of the lights off setting the mood of this sad and moving song.
The band came back on Sunday afternoon to lay down string tracks with the Tosca String Quartet which was also a beautiful thing to witness.
You can listen to their exclusive session over at Spotify.
